The article provides a socio-philosophical analysis of the communicative and value-based mechanisms involved in the formation of youth identity within the national cultural space. Under contemporary conditions of globalization, digitalization, cultural mobility, and intensified information exchange, youth identity is increasingly formed at the intersection of historically established national values and rapidly transforming global cultural patterns. The study conceptualizes national cultural space as an integrated symbolic, axiological, communicative, and institutional environment encompassing language, historical memory, traditions, cultural heritage, family relations, education, social institutions, media, and digital communication. Particular attention is devoted to the mechanisms through which collective cultural meanings are communicated, interpreted, internalized, and transformed into elements of individual and collective identity. The analysis demonstrates that communication functions as a mechanism of cultural transmission and meaning construction, whereas values provide normative and semantic foundations for self-identification. The article argues that sustainable youth identity requires neither cultural isolation nor the mechanical reproduction of inherited traditions, but a dynamic synthesis of cultural continuity, critical reflection, individual agency, digital literacy, and creative participation. A conceptual model of youth identity formation is proposed in which cultural meanings pass through communicative interaction, axiological evaluation, internalization, identification, and social practice before returning to the cultural space through creative reproduction.
